Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Anesthesia:  We use safest available anesthetics for our patients.  We are prepared to administer anesthesia to the elderly patient as well as puppies, kittens and those with special needs, such as Bulldogs and Greyhounds. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
    
Vaccinations:  Because a "one size fits all" vaccination protocol is no longer the standard in veterinary medicine, our vaccination protocol is customized to your pet's lifestyle.  While a  Rabies vaccination is required by law to be given every three years, other vaccinations are scheduled for your pet based on individual need.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
   
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning, extractions, treatment of oral diseases and oral surgery.  Dental specialists are available for the most complicated cases.  We are equipped with digital dental radiography which allows us to quickly take superb dental x-rays and minimizes anesthesia time for your pet.
   
Grooming:  Our in house groomer offers a soft touch and a soothing word while grooming your special companion.  Your pet will enjoy a warm bath, blow dry, hair cut, nail trim and brush out (and a doggie cookie!), all in a relaxing environment.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory allows us to perform hematology, urinalysis, fecal analysis, viral testing and parasite testing. We also utilize a commercial veterinary laboratory for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
    
Permanent identification: We offer the ResQ microchip by Bayer.  The microchip fee includes registration.  There are no additional maintenance fees that other microchip companies may charge.
   
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, medicated shampoos, heartworm preventatives and parasite controls to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
   
Client and Community Education:  Because of the ever changing information in the pet healthcare field, we wish to invite you to our healthcare seminars.  These seminars cover changes in the medical field as well as timely and popular topics.  Please check "Hospital Happenings" for the current schedule.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
    
Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
