Using state of the art technology, Clear Creek Animal Hospital is able to perform many radiographic procedures to help diagnose your pet’s illness. Currently, Clear Creek Animal Hospital has digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, and ultrasound capabilities. For more complex cases, such as MRI and CT scans, we are able to refer to an imaging facility.

Clear Creek Animal Hospital offers digital radiology, or x-ray to our patients. Digital radiology uses less radiation and the results are available quickly. We can offer x-rays in our clinic and, if needed, the images can easily be sent to a Radiologist or specialist for consultation.

Common issues that x-rays can help evaluate are:

  • Bone and muscle diseases.
  • Gastrointestinal and digestive system problems.
  • Reproductive issues.
  • Urinary problems.

At Clear Creek Animal Hospital, ultrasound examinations are performed using a non-invasive technique that causes minimal stress to your pet and generally does not require sedation. Ultrasounds are typically used to diagnose heart and abdominal issues. They are a great alternative to surgery, as the radiologist can evaluate and measure the abdominal organs, often providing a diagnosis without performing exploratory surgery. Ultrasounds are performed and analyzed in-house by a board-certified radiologist.
